Which is just what we did with our granddaughter. A warm day in January made all of us hanker for some outdoor air in our urban-farm-wannabe backyard. The chickens were more than amiable towards an extra hand-out, and we were happy to spend a few moments away from writing, study and everyday indoor chores to renew our connection with the simple pleasures of 'Outside'.
